Maturity

There’s a certain kind of maturity that only comes with age.

You become a little calmer and introspective as you become less idealistic.

The words you speak become more measured because you now know their importance.

You no longer see the world as limitless but wrought with challenges that you need the strength to overcome.

There is also a kind of clarity that comes with maturity.

You start to see the world for what it really is

And although the lessons life teaches you can sometimes be bitter.

Every experience is a tool in your hands to use as you choose

Either to build or destroy you.
